Grade 12 · Class of 2027
Tarana Rangwala
I'm a curious, creative person who has always lived between two worlds: the precision of science and the expressiveness of the arts. I'm an avid reader of fiction and non-fiction, and I'm especially drawn to books about oceans, the environment, animals and nature. They've shaped how I see the world and how deeply I care about protecting it. Physics is my favourite lens for understanding that world, and I'm fascinated by how its principles turn into real solutions through applied physics and engineering.
Alongside science, art has been part of my life since I was very young. I've been learning and creating in visual arts, music and dance for as long as I can remember, and these practices taught me discipline, expression and how to see things differently. I plan to pursue applied physics or engineering and to minor in dance, so that performing arts stay part of my life.
I'm energized by working with like-minded people on projects that matter. I love collaborating, exchanging ideas and building something bigger than any one of us could build alone. I want to use the resources and opportunities I've been given for the greater good, combining curiosity, creativity and teamwork to make a real difference.
